Jesus is able

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" - Ephesians 3:21

Most of us are well aware of the first part of this verse: "[God] is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think". We all know that God is great and that nothing is impossible for Him to do. We

sing hymns glorifying His might. But when it comes to a negative issue that we are facing, we think we have to wait or maybe "God is teaching me a lesson" and we are certain of the fact that theSatan is prompt and that he is ever-ready with his attacks.

Now let us focus on the latter and the often most ignored part of the

verse: "according to the power that works in you". What is this power that is inside of us? It is the Spirit of God that

raised up Jesus Christ from the dead! (Rom 8:11). It is the lack of knowledge of who we are in Christ Jesus that is making us into weaklings. We are the children of the most High GOD! Most of us are waiting for that glorious eternal life in Heaven where there are no sorrows or pain. But Jesus does not want us to struggle during our life

here on earth. Jesus came to give us an abundant life (John 10:10b).

Satan is the one that comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a).

Next time when he hits you with an "attack", realize the fact that the One who is in you is far greater than all the demons put together (1 John 4:4). When we get this revelation, we won't put up with any attacks from the Satan, who is already defeated! Jesus dethroned him and his cohorts at the cross (Col 2:15). Yet in ignorance, we glorify him whenever we say, "oh, satan did this or did that". REFUSE to deal with that sore loser who is already under our feet and set your eyes on JESUS.

Satan wants us to live and respond to our five senses, because that is where he reigns. So he makes sure that we are suffering from physical or emotional ailments at all times. Have you noticed that many people are always "stressed out" with one thing or the other? If you want lasting solutions to your problems, quit praying for it all the time. Our Heavenly Father knows our needs even before we ask Him (Matt6:31-32); instead, set your eyes on Jesus, who is The Life. Get to know Him on a personal basis. Most of us know about Jesus, but don't know Him personally. Without Him we can do nothing, and even if we think we can make it with our own strength, there will always be a void within us.

The life with and IN Jesus is so powerful. He fills us with the peacet hat passes all human understanding. Let us get to know Jesus through the Holy Spirit who came inside of you the day you were born again.

Prayerfully meditate on the scriptures above. Desire and expect the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart through the scriptures; He will.

Confess (repeat after/declare) these words, "Greater is He that is in me than he that is of the world".
