John 1:7,8
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Apostle John says that, if any one says that he has no sin, he is deceiving himself and the truth is not in him. I believe, this is talking about a person who is not saved, or a person who is saved believing that he has no more sin in him. If a person believe that he has no sin, he does not understand the need of a savior (Unbeliever). If a person believe that he has no sin in him once saved, he over estimate himself and get into spiritual deception.
An accurate estimate of who we are in Christ is the key to a victorious Christian life. Our Spirit, Soul and Body are redeemed from the fall, and the work of Jesus on the cross for us is perfectly perfect. But our Spirit is the only part in us, that has attained the full stature of that perfect work (Past Pefect tense). Our soul is in the process of redemption (Present Continous tense) by renewing our mind to who we are in the spirit. Our physical body is waiting for the glorious spiritual body (Future tense). Jesus' work for our salvation is 100% complete, but the manifestation of that perfect work in us is in three stages; Past Perfect (Spirit), Soul (Present Continous) and Body (Future).
It is just like having a fully paid flight ticket for a future date. We don't have to pay a penny any more to travel, but we cannot travel on any day we want to. We have to wait for that particular day and time. The ticket receipt in our hand is the proof that we are going fly soon. Like wise, Jesus PAID IT ALL for our Spirit, Soul and Body, all we need is to wait for the time, and Holy Spirit in us (New Spirit) is the token for our assurance, that we are going to get a new body.
1 Corinthians 1:22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Our spirit is sealed, so that nothing of the flesh will ever enter into it. Our Salvation is sealed once and forever, amen.
The word FLESH is, any thing in us apart from the born again spirit, that has not reached the full stature of the perfect work of Jesus. There is SIN in this FLESH, and we must acknowledge its presence and also must know where God has placed that SIN now. This SIN is under the fountain of the blood of Jesus, and is undergoing constant cleansing. If any body preaches about SIN among the believers, they must preach about the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus.
SIN IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR HUMAN RACE ACCORDING TO GOD; THE ISSUE IS, NOT BELIEVING SON AND HIS PERFECT WORK ON THE CROSS.
Preach Jesus and His perfect work on the cross, people will focus their attention to Jesus and His perfect work for us, and have no time to think about SIN.
